These terms cover the use of screenpilgrimage.com. Using the site means accepting them.
What the site is
Screen Pilgrimage is a catalogue of real places that appear in animation and film, with a map, walking routes and notes on how to behave at each one. Every location on it is free to read and stays free.
What is here, and what is not
Locations are compiled from published sources, each of which is named on the page. Places change: a shop closes, a road is rebuilt, land becomes private. We correct what we are told about, and cannot promise that any entry is current. Nothing here is permission to enter anywhere.
Many of the locations are ordinary homes, schools, shops and places of worship where people live and work. Visiting them is a courtesy extended by the people there, not a right this site grants. Follow the conduct notes on each page, and the instructions of anyone present.
Getting there is your own risk
Routes and coordinates are guidance, not a survey. Mountains, level crossings, coastlines and weather are yours to judge. We are not liable for what happens on a journey planned with this site, to the extent the law allows.
The offline map
Not on sale yet. One thing on this site will be sold, once, with no subscription: the offline map. It puts the map tiles on your device so the catalogue keeps working where there is no signal. The locations, the conduct notes and the routes are free with or without it — what the price will buy is the map tiles, and the right to download them. Nothing here can be bought today. The terms below are the ones that will apply, published before anyone can pay rather than after.
A purchase will give one licence key. It is for your own devices. It is not for resale, sharing or publishing, and the map data may not be redistributed or built into another product. The underlying map is OpenStreetMap data under the Open Database License, credited on the map itself; that licence governs the data, and this one governs the packaged download.
Keep the key. It is how a purchase moves to another device. If you lose it, contact@screenpilgrimage.com can find it from the email you paid with.
Who you buy from
Orders are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which is the merchant of record for every purchase: Paddle takes the payment, charges any tax due where you live, issues the receipt and handles refunds. Paddle's own terms and privacy notice apply to that part, and card details never reach this site.
Refunds
Ask within 14 days of purchase and the price is refunded, for any reason or none. A download already made does not disqualify you — an offline map you cannot judge until you are offline would be a poor thing to make unreturnable. Write to contact@screenpilgrimage.com with the email you paid with, or ask Paddle through the receipt it sent you. A refunded key stops working.
If it does not work
The offline map is sold as it is. It draws the map of Japan at the zoom levels described on the product page, and nothing beyond that is promised — not routing, not search without a signal, not coverage of a place added to the catalogue after you downloaded. Where a defect means it does not do what this page says, the remedy is a refund of what you paid. Nothing here limits rights that the law of your country gives you and does not allow to be limited.

Some links to accommodation and transport are sponsored: if you book after following one, the company may pay a commission, at no extra cost to you. Those links are marked where they appear. What is in the catalogue, and in what order, is never decided by them.
Your own words
Corrections and reports sent to us may be used to fix the catalogue, including the wording of an entry. Do not send anything you are not free to share.
The site itself
The text, photographs and code of this site belong to its author. The catalogue may be read, printed and quoted with a link back; it may not be copied wholesale into another product or database.
Changes
If these terms change, the date above changes with them. A purchase is governed by the terms in force when it was made.
Who runs this
Screen Pilgrimage is a sole trader operating under that name, based in Japan. It is reached at contact@screenpilgrimage.com, which is read by the person who keeps the catalogue. Anything not set out on this page is answered at that address.
Where the law allows a choice, Japanese law applies.

聖地マップは、アニメ・映画に登場する実在の場所をまとめたもので、地図、 徒歩ルート、各地点での振る舞いに関する注意を掲載しています。掲載スポットは すべて無料で、今後も無料です。
掲載内容について
スポットは公開された情報源にもとづき、各ページに出典を明示しています。 場所は変わります——店は閉まり、道は付け替えられ、私有地になることもあります。 ご指摘いただいた誤りは訂正しますが、各項目が常に最新であることは保証できません。 掲載は、そこへ立ち入る許可を意味するものではありません。
掲載地の多くは、人が暮らし働いている住宅・学校・商店・寺社です。訪問は そこにいる方々の厚意によって成り立つものであり、当サイトが与える権利では ありません。各ページのマナー表記と、現地の方の指示に従ってください。
移動に伴う危険
ルートと座標は目安であり、測量ではありません。山道、踏切、海岸、天候の 判断はご自身の責任で行ってください。当サイトを用いて計画された移動中に生じた 事柄について、法令の許す範囲で責任を負いません。
オフライン地図
まだ販売していません。当サイトで販売するものは1つ、 買い切りで、定額課金はありません——オフライン地図です。地図タイルを端末に 置き、通信のない場所でもカタログが動くようにします。スポット情報、マナー 表記、ルートは購入の有無にかかわらず無料で、代金が対価とするのは地図タイルと そのダウンロード権です。今日この場で買えるものはありません。以下は販売開始時に 適用される条件を、支払いが発生しうるより前に掲示したものです。
購入によりライセンスキーを1つ発行します。ご自身の端末でお使いいただく ためのもので、再販・共有・公開はできません。地図データの再配布や他製品への 組み込みもできません。基となる地図は Open Database License にもとづく OpenStreetMap のデータで、地図上に表示しています。データについては同 ライセンスが、パッケージ化されたダウンロードについては本規約が適用されます。
キーは保管してください。別の端末へ購入を移す手段です。紛失した場合は contact@screenpilgrimage.com が決済に使われたメールアドレスから探せます。
販売者
注文は Paddle.com Market Ltd が取り扱い、同社がすべての購入について 販売者(merchant of record)となります。決済の受領、お住まいの国で課される税の 徴収、領収書の発行、返金対応は同社が行います。その部分には同社の規約と プライバシーポリシーが適用され、カード情報が当サイトに届くことはありません。
返金
購入から14日以内にお申し出いただければ、理由を問わず返金します。 ダウンロード済みであっても対象です——圏外に出るまで良し悪しの分からない オフライン地図を返品不可にするのは筋が通りません。決済に使ったメールアドレスを 添えて contact@screenpilgrimage.com へ、または Paddle から届いた領収書からお申し出ください。返金されたキーは 無効になります。
動作について
オフライン地図は現状有姿で提供されます。商品ページに 記載したズーム段階で日本の地図を描画するもので、それを超える保証はありません—— 経路探索、圏外での検索、ダウンロード後にカタログへ追加された場所の収録は 含まれません。本ページの記載どおりに動作しない不具合があった場合の対応は、 お支払いいただいた代金の返金とします。お住まいの国の法令が与える権利で、 制限が認められないものを制限するものではありません。

宿泊・交通へのリンクの一部は広告です。経由して予約された場合、当方に 手数料が支払われることがありますが、利用者の負担は増えません。該当箇所には その旨を明示しています。掲載内容とその順序が、これによって決まることは ありません。
